STRIDE Field Trip
STRIDE students visited the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh on December 1. They took the "Power of Art" tour through the museum where they observed various pieces of art that depicts powerful themes produced by the artist.
The students also got to visit two special art exhibits: MC Escher and Leonardo Da Vinci's Codex. The students explored Escher's pieces and Da Vinci's journal where he made notes on inventions such as dams, water canals, and ideas related to astronomy.
Here students are investigating a piece of art by using different means of perspective to view the painting.
Owen is very interested in what our docent was explaining about a piece of art!
